January stuff

Just after the new year we packed up the kiddos and spent a night in the city.  We had heaps of fun.  The kids had their first experience riding the subway.

Can you see the excitement in their faces?

We walked around the QVB (Queen Victoria Building) and looked at all the fun shops.  They still had the huge Christmas tree up.

hmmm....the cupcake shop...Livi loves the mint chocolate cupcake.

We visited the first Gap in Sydney.  It felt like home.  Same stuff just more expensive but then again what isn't expensive in Sydney.
I caught this oh so cute moment while we were walking around.

The kids wanted a picture with the police car.

awww, fatherhood.  I love Jack down in his little cubby.
It has been so blazin hot lately that Jack hangs out in his nappy most of the time.

Rex is in pure heaven whenever he is in water.

How much fun!!!! My kids had a blast riding the subway when we went to Boston, NY and DC a few years ago. They still talk about it! :) I can't believe how big Jack is getting! Such a cutie- just like the others!! :)

Everyone looks like they are having so many fun experiences touring Sydney and having new adventures. Your blog is such a wonderful record of your time in Australia! Sydney was mentioned on the Today show this morning saying it was very hot there-99! A big winter storm is hitting a lot of states in the US this week. The news said Kalamazoo was getting 2 feet of snow! I remember the snowy winter weather while we were there.
