Alivia requested a "disco" party {which pretty much means a dance here in Oz}. We borrowed so sweet strobe lights from a friend and made it look like a dance floor for the evening. The kids had fun jumping, twirling, break dancing, jumping some more and doing the worm.
I also set up a little photo booth in the other room. {yes the back ground looks like an unfolded plastic black tablecloth because that is exactly what it is. I bought it thinking it would be perfect and didn't think about the massive creased that would be in it. I couldn't be bothered to go to plan B and I didn't have time}
It was fun to see what creations the kids came up with for costumes. Some were pretty dang hilarious!
I think Lucy would look fabulous if she ever decided to dye her hair and get a perm in the future.
I found some old, pretty awesome records at the thrift store and had them hanging around.
Liv with some of her school mates.
Jessica loves Jack & Jack loves Jessica. She took good care of him.
It got a bit crazy but it's to be expected when you have twenty 7-10 year old kids at a disco.
Rex was cracking me up.... and so was this guy below....
Oh my Jared, I almost peed my pants!
Liv and friends teaching everyone a dance.
Playing the game electricity. It got interesting but the kids had fun. We used to play these games at my birthday parties when I was little. I remember it being chaos and I am sure my mom was exhausted...because I was being on the other end of a party. :) You do it for the kids though.... :) At one point a girl got her tooth kicked out of her mouth. We had to search for it on the floor. Luckily it was a baby one...and kinda loose. I've never sent a child home with a tooth in a baggy. :)
The crazy bunch. Grateful Liv has so many great friends to celebrate her birthday!
