We met some friends at a fun park near our house for an afternoon of letting the kids run around. There is a sand area that I don't totally love but the kids gravitate towards it and they like playing in it and getting dirty which I am fine with....but Jack's sandiness was on a whole new level. He started shoveling it on his head because he thought it was funny so then Liv decided it would be funny to help him. Wow, he was covered and he had a foot of sand in his hair.
He fell asleep on our 30 minute ride home so by then his hair was crusty. I stuck him straight under the sink when he woke up and scrubbed and scrubbed the sand out. Sand is so hard to get out of hair.
