Part 3 of our USA adventure

After we said goodbye to Stef & Christiian we headed down the 405 to Newport Beach for the Schill Family Reunion.  We spent a week right on the beach in three beach houses.

{in the picture my niece Karsyn, sis in-law Ang and my mother dearest}

 We hit this fun little free carnival thing where you could ride the carousel as many times as you wanted....
so we did...

                                                                          {Ash & Jamo}

 We all rode it at least as many times to ride on each of the animals.  :) Luckily there were not very many other people there.

                                                     {the Jeffster & Jamisen}

My brother Jeff and his wife Ashley were in charge of the reunion this year.  Me & Jared have done it before and it is not easy organizing a place for 50 people, but Jeff & Ashley did and an awesome job.  Newport was so fun and so beautiful! The kids were in heaven on the beach.

                                                             Liv with her cousin Bella

 These two little monkeys were hilarious together. At first Jack would just take whatever Jamisen dished him but within a few days Jack was holding his own. They were fun to watch.  I think Jack is contemplating throwing the handful of sand he has in Jamo's face.

 Everyone loved the boogie and body boarding.  The big kids {adults} and the small kids couldn't get enough of it.
Of course there was plenty of hauling water back for the perfect sand castle going on...{thanks uncle Jeff for helping my little Rexbo}

 Luce and Boo were perfectly content hanging out in big holes which I was happy with because it made it easier to keep an eye on them.

 My kids LOVE to be buried.  I did too as a kid...now I can't think of anything worse...SANDY!! It gives me the chills thinking about it.  Anyway, Rex was loving his sanding burying experience until he opened his eyes and saw that the girls had made him two nice bumps on his chest.
so of the 50 people in my family, 44 were at the reunion.  One family couldn't make it and one niece who is serving a mission in Russia.  As you can imagine that is a whole lot of mouths to feed.  My sis in-law had these ginormous bowls and my bro Ryan & I tried to angel them so that you could get a feel of just had massive they were.

Jeff with his plate of a classic dish in our hose growing up...spaghetti...it's cheap and feeds a ton..

this was one of the porches at one of the beach houses.  We were all next to each other so it made it fun for late night talks.  If you look to your right you will see a red car parked...the beach is right in front of that car.

{My dad, my sis Jo & my lil bro Jeff}

Two peas in a pod

jack did an awesome pirate screen face.

 Liv and Lucy with their cousin's Isabella, Noah & Tennyson.  They came from England and we came from Australia...needless to say it was great to see each other.
this huge balloon thing was at the free carousel place.  They take people up in it but unfortunately it was too windy so they couldn't take people up.  It was huge.

And last but not least...This is me reunited with one of my loves...a pulled pork Cafe Rio salad with extra dressing.  I may have cried when I took my first bite. :)
