So much to be grateful for!

We have had a great couple of weeks. November has seemed to go by too fast. We have enjoyed the nice fall weather, the leaves, & everything that comes with this time of year. Alivia had a fun fall feast at her school last week. It was adorable. The kids all help make the food & the decorations. All of the parents are invited to come for the last half hour of class and take pictures. The kids sure make adorable pilgrims and Indians.
Some more big news...Lucy started crawling this week. I just love that little girl. There is just something about her. She has the cutest little gummy smile. We all love her chunkiness too. So she is crawling and of course there is no stopping her when she gets her mind set on something on the floor. She charges right for it. Alivia & Rex love to put a toy out for her to crawl too. She will giggle and of course the kids LOVE that.
We had a great Thanksgiving. Jared played some football in the morning. I told him to have fun and to please not come home needing stitches. Jared has a few cousins that live in the area so we were able to get together with them. Jared's cousin's sister in-law invited us to her home. Her husband is actually our dentist . We had a great meal and the kids had fun getting in the hot tub. We burned off some calories by playing Dance Dance Revolution. Jared had some pretty great moves. It was a great Thanksgiving & the first thanksgiving, besides our missions, when we haven't been with our immediate families. We are grateful for so many things. We really do feel blessed.
So as you know Jared works in retail. Black Friday is pretty crazy for him. He left our house at 3:40 AM on Friday to get ready for the madness. His store opened at 5:00AM and floods of people came piling in. The store did great in sales which Jared was very pleased about. I took our kids over to our friends Natalie & Brandon's house at 5:30AM. Brandon stayed there and Natalie & I went out to do some shopping. We felt like sardines in the toy aisles at Target. The whole thing is pretty hilarious. When we got home at 8:00 AM everyone was still asleep.
We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We sure love you.

The snot coming out of Lucy's nose is wonderful...I just have to show Brandon. Thanks for the Black Friday experience. Who wouldn't love great deals, rude people and long lines???
