Skippin rocks!!!

There is a waterfall near our home and it is a perfect little hike for our kids. One of the good things about Jared's schedule is that we can do fun stuff on a week day and are usually the only people . We went on this hike just after Lucy was born and it was packed with people, but when we went last week we were the only people at the waterfall. We had a great time skipping rocks and exploring. Alivia found a walking stick and it came in handy as she walked through the streams. We didn't have any injuries this year. Last year Rex had been swimming in the water and we had wrapped him burrito style with his arms in his towel and he tripped. He fell onto a rock and broke it with his head. He punctured his head but didn't need stitches. He loves to talk about how he broke the rock with his head.
