Our little Lucy celebrated her 4th birthday this weekend. During the week when we would be in the car or just around the house she would ask me to tell her about when she was a baby and when she was born. I told her about how Grandma Schill drove from California to Idaho the day before she was born and we had fun together the night before. The next day we drove to St. Luke's Hospital in Boise and I walked in while dad parked the car and asked the front desk where I needed to go to have a baby. It was funny to see the looks on their faces. We got all ready and soon Lucy was born. I remember hearing her cry and then hearing Jared tell me that we had a little girl, a Lucy. Of course we all fell in love with her the second we saw her. So many family and friends came to see her at the hospital. Aunt Rebekah flew from Texas to help and be with her too. Lucy has always been well loved.
So, my sweet Lucy, 4 years later, you have taught us so many things. You have added so much to our family. You make us laugh with your laugh and character. You love to tell us how much you love us and your special Lucy hugs and kisses are our favorite. You are so determined and often times don't like to be told no, but you also have a sweetness about you that melts our hearts. You are a strong girl and we can't wait to see what you will do in life. Happy 4th Birthday Lucy Jean Jelly Bean! We love you like crazy!xoxoxoxo
p.s. Alivia put together this awesome video for Lucy
