schill family reunion continued

We are back in Sydney.  The flight was long, but we made it and we are slowly getting adjusted to the time zone. I will blog more about that later.  Here is part 4 of our adventure.  More Schill Fam Reunion goodness.

The boardwalk was awesome at Newport Beach.  We took some sweet bike rides. There is something about riding your bike next to the ocean.  It was so relaxing.  We also took morning runs along the boardwalk just as the sun was coming up.  I love the fresh air and the sound of everything waking up and starting the day.

Jack is in the baby carrier.  The only helmet we had was a cute pink one so he was our little Jackie.

Jack met a lot of new faces this trip, many he had never seen before so naturally he was a bit timid and clingy at first.  He warmed up to his aunty Ang.

Livi has 6 girl cousins that are either her age or close to her age so she had a blast playing and having a sleepover every night.

Every family reunion we have a basketball tournament.  There are usually 4 teams.  This year the green team took the trophy...(my team) :). It can get pretty intense.  Here you have my nephew McKay battling it out with my bro in-law Rich.

I love the look of anticipation on everyone's faces as they wait for the rebound.  Everyone plays.  My dad was out there getting into it as well.

The photo below cracks me up...just doing my job blocking Ryan from the side...haha, maybe next time I should go in front of him, might be more effective! :) Can you see everyone smiling...the games are intense but also pretty comical.

We had a nice area on the porch of the beach house where some sweet BBQing took place.

Rex had his headphones from the flight over and he saw his cousin Hunter walking around with his on so he wanted to be like him. Cute.  We have always said that these two look alike.

We went to church in Newport and the Temple was right next to the church.  It was fun to walk around and hang out there for a little bit.

There are a billion people in my family that have birthdays in July & August so we celebrated all of them at one time.  Jared's birthday was actually that day {Aug. 3rd}.  Happy Birthday J-man!

McKay is the second oldest grandchild and Jack is the youngest.

 We had a Minute to Win it game as well with all the teams.  It was a lot of fun.  Rex is working hard to get the green team points for the puzzle portion.

This game was hilarious.  They had to get an oreo from their forhead to their mouth without dropping it and without using your hands.  It was so funny.

Here I am competing in the cotton drop.  You put vaseline on your nose and without using your hands you have to get cotton balls into the bowl.
