We have had some hefty rain here the last week. One afternoon it was really coming down and the drains in the back patio couldn't handle the water so we had a nice pool going on back there. The kids started off in their rain coats, then they were down to their clothes, then undies and finally nudie rudie...just before they marched upstairs to a warm shower.
Rex was singing and yelling and having the time of his life...
All of this water came within a half hour period.
Along the brick walls we started seeing hundreds of bugs clinging for dear life. I guess I was in denial about just how many bugs were in our bushes....I don't know what I was expecting, we are in Australia and there are bugs everywhere. :) I will say that I have enjoyed the rainy days because it has cooled it off, but it is still super muggy.
