Jared's last day at Old Navy!

Today was Jared's last day as the Store Manager for Old Navy. It was kind of sad. I really don't like change, but it is part of life. We are really excited about the new adventure, but it is hard to leave what we have made here. We have loved where we are, the people we have met and the things that we have learned as a family. Jared loved his job at Old Navy. Over the past 4 1/2 years he has worked with some great people. They had a little going away party for Jared today and had a cake with Australian flags stuck in it. It was really cute. Thanks everyone at Old Navy for making Jared's job so pleasant. Thanks for all the times many of you let the kids help you with stuff or for not getting annoyed when they would play with all the balls in the store and when Rex would try to steal things. When he was younger he would decide that he wanted something and nobody was going to stop him. He would bolt for the front door. We have so many great memories. Onto the next adventure.

Change is not one my most favorite things in life, that's for sure. But, so many wonderful people and blessing have come into my life beacuse of it. Good luck with the big move. You guys will do great!!

Jared's last day at Old Navy is very sad, not just a little sad, especially for the mom of two of his employees. Jared was a great boss for the short time my kids worked with him, and he will be sorely missed, by the kids and by their mom. Thanks, Jared, for making a difference in two teenagers' lives!

Congrats Jared! (Julie,...every picture I see of you, you just get skinnier and skinnier!-What's up with that Italian beauty?! ha!) I'm sooooo excited for you guys! Australia will be a neat adventure. I'm just like you and don't like change. It's good that we can accept that it's part of life and go with the flow. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you.
